This could be the house for you!
Set near the beautiful coves of Cala San Vicente, on Mallorca's north coast, this is one of the best locations on the island to live, to visit, to let and to spend your holidays.
When we say north, we really mean north! Cala, as the locals call it, is the northernmost resort on the island. Tucked into the foothills of the Tramuntana, on its way to Formentor, there are 4 small inlets surrounded by pine forests - this is Cala San Vicente.
This house is a once in a lifetime special deal, that someone will lap up and never look back!
Not often does a property come up for sale in Cala San Vicente, and less so within this price range. Here is an opportunity to own a home, an investment and a holiday pad all in one.
This beautiful first floor apartment, built in 2008, is part of a well presented and modern building of just 6 units. Located just 200 metres from the beach in a quiet street, it comprises two double bedrooms and one family bathroom.
A fully equipped kitchen with in-built units, A/C, a laundry room and store room.
A very bright lounge diner with an open plan kitchen and direct access to a good size private south facing.
There is also a small balcony which can be reached from one of the bedrooms with nice views of the mountains. It is equiped with air conditioning system (hot and cold), double glazing windows, a store room and a 2 private exterior parking spaces at the rear of the building.
The Coves are called Cala Barques (meaning Cove of the boats) from its fishing port past, Cala Molins (Cove of the Windmills) in reference to the Hotel Molins, one of the first in the area, built on its side, and Cal Carbó, on the far end (meaning Cove of Coal) possibly in reference to a coal bunker, though this is merely a guess). Then there is a fourth cove, called Cala Clara (meaning Cove of clear water) which it really is, and you will find this little beach tucked into the side of the Hotel Don Pedro, also one of the originals.
Each of the calas is different and unique, some tiny, some rocky, and all share the aquamarine waters, washed clean by the north and the incredibly light that comes from this particular combination of crystal clear water, local "posidonia" algae that keeps this little corner of the Mediterranean Sea so wonderfully clear, and rich vegetation.
Top on the list of family holiday destinations, loved by couples, retirees and cyclists, and spanning the economic spectrum from high end luxury to budget, Cala San Vicente attracts an incredibly wide ranging and diverse demographic.
